ICI Mutual Insurance Company, a Risk Retention Group (ICI Mutual or the Company) is organized under the Federal Liability Risk Retention Act of 1986 and the laws of the state of Vermont. As a specialized captive insurer for the investment management industry, ICI Mutual provides insurance only to investment companies, institutional investment advisers, and other "eligible firms" (as defined in ICI Mutual's by-laws) who are members, associate members, or affiliates of members, of the Investment Company Institute (the national association of U.S. investment companies). ICI Mutual offers three basic insurance products: Directors & Officers/Errors & Omissions Liability Insurance, Independent Directors Liability Insurance, and Investment Company Blanket Bond Insurance.
