ICI Mutual is the predominant provider of D&O/E&O liability insurance, IDL, and fidelity bonds for the U.S. mutual fund industry. The Company was founded by the mutual fund industry in 1987 and continues to be owned by its insureds, who represent more than 60% of the industry's assets.
Mutual fund executives and fund independent directors serve on the Company's Board of Directors, bringing their in-depth knowledge and experience of the industry to direct the development of insurance products and services that meet the unique needs of funds, their directors, officers and advisers. The Board's involvement ensures that ICI Mutual is operated for the long-term benefit of its insureds.
